Travel Package Kerala -Itinerary

Day : 01 Cochin - Thattekkad
Your Travel Package to Keral astarts on arrival at Cochin airport or Railway station. We will transfer you to Thattekkadu 50kms 1hr .Check in to the hotel birds lagoon Thattekkad, situated on the banks of the Periyar River , over looking the lush greenery of the nearby rain forest. It houses the precious bird sanctuary named after Dr. Salim Ali, the famed ornithologist and attracts rare species of birds from various parts of the world including Asia and EuropeThe important birds found here include large falcon, gray jungle fowl, white breasted water hen, giant hornbill and varied species of migratory birds. The vegetation in this area consists of tropical evergreen, semi evergreen, and moist deciduous forest and plantations of teak, rosewood. Mahogany and bamboo etc. Further more than 28 varieties of animals including elephants; bison's and nine varieties of reptiles including king cobra have accepted this area as their natural habitat. This day is free for local sightseeing Birds lagoon Activities ( optional) Bird Watching, Thattekkadu Bird sanctuary Visit Boating, Trekking, Mountain Biking, Elephant Training Centre Visit, Jeep Safari. Day : 02 Thattekadu -Periyar
AM: 0900 Hrs check out from Birds lagoon resort after breakfast, and we take you to Thekkady (140 Kms / 04 Hrs). Thekkady is one of India’s most fascinating natural wildlife sanctuaries , where you can watch wildlife sanctuaries , where you can watch wildlife at close range .The vegetation the flora & fauna and the birds of Thekkady are uniquely rich vast & varied that it does not bear semblance to any other wildlife sanctuaries in the world .even a casual visitor to the place will not fail to observe the special ecological pattern of thekkady.In the periyar forest of Thekkady is one of the finest wildlife reserve in India & spread across the entire district are picturesque plantations & hill towns that hold great opportunities for treks & mountain walks.A cruise on through the water of periyar lake around which the wild-life sanctuary is situated offers a soul - stirring pleasant experience . Overnight stay in Hotel Munnar.

Day : 03 Periyar
AM: 0900 enjoy your breakfast at hotel expedience the mind bowing view of calm crystal clear Periyar Lake, whistles of birds and murmurings of wild animals will seduce your mind for romance Afternoon at leisure or go for a spice plantation tour( optional) or experience the ayurvedic massage ( optional) overnight at Thekkady.

Day : 04 Periyar - Kumarakom
0900 Hrs after breakfast check out from Hotel and we drive down to Kumarakom (145 Kms / 4 Hrs). On the shores of the enchanting vembanad lake , 14 km form Kottayam , lies kumarakom a small-town .the most interesting area in the backwater is the ‘Kuttanad’ region called rice bowl of kerala .Kumarakom is just one little village in this region on the banks of the beautiful vembanad lake .The village of kumarakom is a cluster of little island s on the vembanad lake .& is a part of the kuttanad region .The bird sanctuary in kumarakom is spread across 14 acres is a favourite haunt of migratory birds & ornithologist’s paradise.After refreshing visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary ( famous for migratory and local birds), Evening go for Sunset cruise (optional) or enjoy the beauty of backwater by just relaxing near Vembanadu Lake.

Day 05 Alleppey Houseboat
Morning at leisure at resort, 1230 hrs checks in at houseboat. Rest of the day at leisure on the House Boat. Sit back and relax while the boat cruises through the narrow serene backwater canals of Kumarakom & Alleppey and seen in breathing green, the village slumbers by the Vembanadu Lake. On cruise scenery flashes up vivid contrasts of lush green and deep blues. As the boat glider along the gorgeous green of the fringed palms the ripples in the blue water blend in to little wavelets. Lunch, Evening Tea/Coffee with snacks, dinner and Overnight stay on House Boat.

Day : 06 Houseboat Cochin (Departure)
AM at leisure on House Boat experience the pollution free air and after a good breakfast a t0900 Hrs check out from houseboat and we transfer you Cochin û airport(100 km /2 hrs) / Railway station. End of Travel package to Kerala / services.
