Itinerary

Day 01 Cochin Kumarakom 100 Km/2Hrs
Kerala Kodaikanal package starts on arrival at Cochin .We will meet you and transfer to Kumarakom (100 K M /2 hrs)0900. On arrival at Kumarakom, check in at the hotel. On the shores of the enchanting vembanad lake , 14 km form Kottayam , lies kumarakom a small-town .the most interesting area in the backwater is the ‘Kuttanad’ region called rice bowl of kerala .Kumarakom is just one little village in this region on the banks of the beautiful vembanad lake .The village of kumarakom is a cluster of little island s on the vembanad lake .& is a part of the kuttanad region .The bird sanctuary in kumarakom is spread across 14 acres is a favourite haunt of migratory birds & ornithologist’s paradis After refreshing visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary ( famous for migratory and local birds), Evening go for Sunset cruise (optional) or enjoy the beauty of backwater by just relaxing near Vembanadu Lake.

Day 02 Kumarakom- Houseboat
Morning at leisure at resort, 1230 hrs checks in at houseboat. Rest of the day at leisure on the House Boat. Sit back and relax while the boat cruises through the narrow serene backwater canals of Kumarakom & Alleppey and seen in breathing green, the village slumbers by the Vembanadu Lake. On cruise scenery flashes up vivid contrasts of lush green and deep blues. As the boat glider along the gorgeous green of the fringed palms the ripples in the blue water blend in to little wavelets. Lunch, Evening Tea/Coffee with snacks, dinner and Overnight stay on House Boat.

Day 03 Houseboat-Periyar-145KM/4hrs
AM at leisure on House Boat experience the pollution free air and after a good breakfast at 0900 Hrs check out from houseboat On arrival at Thekkady check into Hotel. Thekkady is one of India’s most fascinating natural wildlife sanctuaries , where you can watch wildlife sanctuaries , where you can watch wildlife at close range .The vegetation the flora & fauna and the birds of Thekkady are uniquely rich vast & varied that it does not bear semblance to any other wildlife sanctuaries in the world .even a casual visitor to the place will not fail to observe the special ecological pattern of thekkady.In the periyar forest of Thekkady is one of the finest wildlife reserve in India & spread across the entire district are picturesque plantations & hill towns that hold great opportunities for treks & mountain walks.A cruise on through the water of periyar lake around which the wild-life sanctuary is situated offers a soul - stirring pleasant experience . After noon at leisure ,overnight at hotel .

Day 04 Periyar Sightseeing
After refreshing go for a spice plantation Tour to see crops of cardamom cinnamon, pepper, coffee, tea estate (Optional) & later for boating in the Periyar lake- its centre piece of Periyar Wildlife sanctuary also Periyar Tiger reserve, man made lake of the height of 2000 ft, enjoying view the wildlife at the Periyar tiger reserve (Optional). Later return to hotel for overnight stay in hotel.

Day 05 Periyar Kodaikanal-145KM/4hrs
After breakfast we will transfer you to Kodaikanal

(120kms 4hrs). enjoy the beautifully western ghat hills with spice plantations, thick forests and small streams on arrival check in to the hotel , Kodai is an crucial splendor spot for those who love being close to mother nature. They say every bird must sing it's own throat while we say every traveller should find his own way out of variegated and unblemished paths of deep valleys and steep Mountains . And why would a nature eccentric would go on the same path that everybody else follows. While at Kodai, we would recommend you to take all the opposite turns and follow unknown paths. Kodaikanal offers a variety of breathtaking spots and attractions to lure travellers.

At Kodai, you will find a number of virgin spots of attractions, which are untouched and undisturbed by human presence. So if you are also set for such a twisting and turning journey across the green valley, we would make a request to maintain the sanctity of place that you visit. Day 06 Kodaikanal Sightseeing .
The full day is free. You may choose to visit the Kodaikanal Lake, spread over an area of 60 acres and surrounded by wooded slopes. The attractive walk around the lake takes between one and a half hours. Additionally, you have the option of boating or fishing. Later visit Cocker's Walk, Golf Links, Green Valley View, Pillar Rocks, Silver Cascade Falls, and Bear Shola Falls. That night stay at Kodaikanal.

Day 07 Kodaikanal - Munnar
AM: 0900 Hrs check out from Hotel after breakfast and we take you to Munnar (140 Kms / 5 Hrs). Munnar is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. 1600 m above sea level, this hill station was the summer resort of the British Government in South India. Sprawling tea plantations, picture-book towns, winding lanes and holiday facilities make Munnar a popular hill station. Among the exotic flora found in the forests and grasslands here is the Neelakurinji. This flower which bathes the hills in blue once every twelve years will bloom next in 2006 AD. Munnar also has the highest peak in South India, Anamudi, which towers over 2695 m. Anamudi is an ideal spot for trekking.. On arrival at Munnar check into Hotel.. Overnight stay in Hotel, Munnar.

Day 08 Munnar Sightseeing
After breakfast we take you for a full day sightseeing trip of Munnar -which is a nature lover's paradise with endless teagardens lakes on western ghat hills; basically it is a tea town. covering - Mattupetty Lake & Dam, Echo Point, Kundale Lake, Blossom Garden, Rajamalai - offering a spectacular view, Eravikulam Wildlife sanctuary, home of Nilgiry Thar( very rare mountain goat), considering the ecological faunal, floral, geo- morphological and zoological significant & Tea Plantation. Later return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 09 Departure .
AM at leisure in Munar and experience the pollution free air and after a good breakfast at check out from Hotel and we transfer you Cochin – airport(140 km /4 hrs) / Railway station. End of Kerala Kodaikanal Package / services.
